HOW IT WORKS

Run your facility without fossil fuels

Element 16 enables industrial facilities to decarbonize process heat while lowering operating costs. Our system stores low-cost electricity as thermal energy and dispatches heat when your facility needs it most.

WHY ELEMENT 16

Designed for industrial reality

Lowest-Cost Storage

Element 16 uses sulfur — a globally available industrial byproduct — as its storage medium.

The result is dramatically lower material cost at scale.

Lowest-Cost System

Operating below 400°C allows the use of common materials and off-the-shelf components, reducing capital cost and system complexity.

High Performance

Liquid sulfur enables fast charge and discharge rates through natural convection heat transfer — maximizing economic value without added mechanical complexity.

A practical approach to decarbonizing heat

Element 16 is designed for facilities with consistent industrial heat demand and a focus on long-term cost reduction.

FOR YOU

Built for your facility

Element 16 works best for industrial facilities with consistent heat demand and a focus on long-term cost reduction and emissions mitigation.

Every engagement begins with a conversation, not a commitment.

We evaluate your facility’s technical and economic profile to determine whether a project makes sense.
